BETTER FARMING FOR A BETTER PERU
Project Horizons aims to improve impoverished Peruvian families' lives by donating and installing irrigation kits in rural schools and villages. This drip irrigation system, which is installed into the recipients' fields, functions by conveying water droplets to the crops’ roots, allowing farmers to save up to 80% of their water compared to non-drip irrigation. This system also affects harvest sizes, as using drip irrigation enables farmers to increase crop output by up to 90%. We've been working hard to get Peruvians the help they need since October 2020, and we've fundraised enough to help 117 families.
